Note:
This is not the Wiccan Rede!
It is the
Rede of the Wiccae, or the Wiccan Credo. Put simply, it is but a poetic interpretation of the rede.
Despite the insistence that the Rede was taken from this piece, the
Rede Of The Wiccae was not published untill the 1970's by a Lady Gwen Thompson and Adriana Porter.

The True Rede encompases but 2 lines:
As Ye Harm None,
Do What Ye Will.
Wicca: For the Rest of Us
Bide ye wiccan law you must, In perfect love and perfect trust.
Live you must and let to live, Fairly take and fairly give.
For tread the circle thrice about to keep unwelcome spirits out.
to bind the spell well every time, Let you spell be spoke in ryhme.
Light of eye and soft of touch, Speak ye little and listen much.
Honor the old ones in deed and name, Let light and love guide us again.
Deosil go by waxing moon, Chanting out in joyful tune.
Widdershins go by moon doth wane, Werewolves howl by dread Wolfsbane.
When the Lady's moon if new, Kiss your hand to her times two.
When the moon ride at it's peak, Then the heart's desire seek.
Heed the north wind's mighty gale, Lock the door and trim the sail.
When the wind comes from the east, Expect the new and set the feast.
When the winds ride from the south, Love shall kiss the on thy mouth.
When winds whisper from the west, All hearts find peace and rest.
Nine woods in the cauldron go, Burn them fast and burn them slow.
Birch in the fire goes, Representing all the lady knows.
Oak in the forest towers with might, In the fire brings God's insight.
Rowan is a tree of power, Causing life and magick to flower.
Willows at the waterside stand, Ready to help us to the summerland.
Hawthorne is burned to draw tha faerie to your eye.
Hazel tree of wisdom and learning, Adds its strength to fire burning.
White are flowers of the Apple tree, which brings us fruits of fertility.
Grape grow upon the vines, Bringing us both joy and wine.
Fir does mark the evergreen, representing mortality seen.
Elder be the Lady's tree, Burn it not or cursed you'll be.
Heede ye flower bush and tree, By the Lady, Blessed be.
Four times the major Sabbats mark in the light and dark.
As the old year starts to wane, The new begins, it's now Samhain.
When Imbolic starts to show, Look for flowers in the snow.
When the wheel begins to turn, now the Beltaine fires burn.
As the wheel turns to Lammas night power is brought to magick rite.
Four times the minor sabbats fall, Use the sun to mark them all.
When the wheel hath turned to Yule, Light the log, The Horned One rules.
In the spring with night and day, Time for Ostara to come our way.
When the sun hath reached it's height, Time for Oak and Holly to fight.
Harvesting comes to one and all, When Autumn Equinox does fall.
Where the rippling waters go, Cast a stone, The truth to know.
When you have ahold a need, Harken not to others greed.
When missfortune is enow, Wear thy blue star on thy brow.
With a fool no seasons spend, Lest be counted as his friend.
Be true in love you ever be, Lest your love be false to thee.
Merry meet and merry part, Bright the cheeks and warm thy heart.
Mid the three-fold law ye should, Three times bad as three times good.

These eight words this rede fulfill:
"An ye harm none, Do what ye will"
