| I. We practice rites to attune ourselves with natural rythyms of life forces marked by the phases of the moon, the seasonal quarters and cross quarters. II. We recognize that our intelegence gives us a unique responsibilitytoward our environment. We seek to live in harmony with with nature, offering fullfilment to life and consciousness with and evolutionary concept. III. We acknowledge a depth of power far greater than is apparent to the average person but see it as lying within that which is naturally potential to all. IV. We conceive of the creative powers as resting in the polarity of man and woman and at the same time living in all people or functions through interaction. We value neither above the other knowing that each is supportive of the other. V. We recognise inner and outer worlds or psycological - sometimes called spiritual, inner planes or collective unconscious - and recognize the interactions of both. We neglect neither dimension seeing both as vital to fullfilment. VI. We do not recognise any authoritarian or hierarchy but honor those who teach, respect those who share their greater knowledge, and acknowledge those who courageously give themselves in leadership. VII. We see religion, magick and wisdom in living as being united in the way one views the world and lives in and with it. A world view and philosophy which we indentify as the wiccan/pagan way. VIII. Calling oneself a witch, nor heredity itself, does not make one a witch, nor does the collecting of titles, degrees or initiations. A witch seeks to control the forces within themself and lives wisely with others and nature without harm to others and in ballance. IX. We acknowledge that is the affirmation and fullfilment of life, in a continuation of evolution and developement of consciousness, that gives the universe we know meaning and personal control. X. Our only animosity ith Christianity, or other religions or philosophyies of life, is to the extent that it is institutions claim to be the "one true, right and only way" and have sought to deny the right of freedom and the supression of religous practices of others. XI. As witches we are not threatened be debates of religion on the history or origons of the craft or the legitimacy of various aspects. We are concerned with our present and our future. XII. We do not accept various aspects or concepts of "evil" nor worship and entity known as "Satan" or the "Devil", as defined by Christianity. Nor do we seek power through suffering of others, or accept the concept that personal bennefits can only be delivered by the denial of another or others. XIII. We work with nature for that which bennefits our well being and heath, as well as that of others. |
