| Chakras are believed to have been first mentioned in the Vedas, and ancient Hindu text. They are Energy Centers which govern the subtle, psychosmatic aspects of our Inner-Being. The Sanskrit term means "Wheel" or "Disk", and when the Chakras are awakened they turn in a Clockwise dirrection. They open up like flowers, pouring their qualities into us and re-establishing our Inner Balance and restoring our Physical and Mental Health. Of the many Chakras, 7 have been identified as Major Chakras. Another 5 are added to represent the Spiritual in order to make a full list of 12 Chakras. Opening these is important to yourself and the Universal. The Chakras are the points in which you Absorb and Release Energy. |
