Dragondera was formed by the powers of Alumina High Queen of the Gods and Lady of the Moon, she named it so and filled it with her most prized creations, the Rainbow dragons. Over the years the rainbows spread to the isles of different gods and remained as different coloured, shaped, or sized beasts forming the various breeds around today. The only Rainbow dragons that chose not to do this remained upon the island until Alumina had her first children, Reflection and Whippet.
To this day Reflection lives well as the First Heir of Alumina on his own small island. But Whippet is lying dead in the Valley Of Mystery after the War for Nakaroo her only child whom is also dead.
During their time of youth there was the mighty hero Gratidol, son of Folab ruling the eastern Mountains of the Fire Range and his kingdom remians unclaimed and hidden in the mountains with only a griffon watcher to say the land is not deserted. Gratidol and other heroes were around always to save the day in the event of danger, until the day of their death. Gratidol's death came just before the destruction of the Rainbow Dragons when he died trying to defend his kingdom from the dreaded Blakirat.
The Blakirat was the first ever dragon to disobey his gods and he tried to over throw them by destroying Alumina's people. He rounded up other rebelious creatures and they came to Dragondera with Hate and Terror. The land was damaged badly and only one dragon escaped the wreckage of his world alive. This soul became the last known Rainbow Dragon on Mythica and is dubbed by all that know him, Old.
But Blakirat was destoryed along with his follwers Last Day (A Son of Elctirnaba) and Kanuc (A Son of Quelaton) by Reflection, Ember, and Old. The First Heir then helped Old bring new comers to his land and Old promised him that the next heir to come to Dragondera would be crowned king. Ember disapeared with his love Whippet and Reflection took Gratidol's cousin Dasinda for his Queen. From their union came Kalatear Baringa, the second heir.
