To provide a safe environment for our children to interact and grow in their Christian faith by learning, cooperating, sharing, developing friendships, and encouraging one another.
ECHO has adopted the following guidelines to handle misbehavior problems occurring during the ECHO day. Each child will receive one verbal warning from any given teacher, and hopefully that warning will be enough to correct the misbehavior.
If, however, the child has to be warned again on the same day, a board will escort the child to his parent's classroom, and the child will stay with his parent in each of the parent's classes on that day. The child will not be permitted to attend any of his own classes on that day unless his parent is a helper in one of the child's classes.
If the misbehavior takes place twice during the same ECHO session (8-week period) the child will not be permitted to attend the rest of the session. Each person attending ECHO will need to sign the ECHO Code of Conduct.
