Urusei Yatsura Kakutou Hen is a hypothetical fighting game
based on the characters of Urusei Yatsura. The game is meant to be
in 240 x 320 resolution (I originally planned for it to be 480 x 640, but
this made animation and drawing too time-consuming for me).
So, what would such a game look like? Well, here are some sample
graphics and animations for you to enjoy.

Lum
Our favorite heroine. Electric attacks are her specialty, but
her defense isn't very good. She can also fly, and can also use
certain high-tech weapons, like Ran.

Miyake Shinobu
Lum's rival, at least at first. Shinobu has monstrous strength,
but isn't really a good fighter. She tends to depend on throwing
massive objects at those who annoy her.

Ran
Lum's childhood friend. Ran has terrible defense, but she has
a great arsenal of powerful high-tech weapons at her disposal,
including laser rifles, grenades, and strength-enhancing wristbands.

Jariten
Lum's little cousin. Jariten ('Ten' for short) can spout massive
flames, fly slowly, and sometimes uses certain high-tech weapons to
boost his sometimes low abilities. Ten has terrible defense.

Oyuki
Lum's childhood friend. Oyuki has power over ice and snow, and can
use these powers to a frightening degree. She also makes use of dimension
gates to travel from planet to planet. Oyuki is extremely poweful.

Mizunokouji Asuka
Asuka is Tobimaro's little sister. Asuka has enormous strength, speed,
and endurance. However, she is very timid and easily scared. She
tends to run away a lot, but her power can't be ignored.

Fujinami Ryuunosuke
Lum's classmate. Ryuunosuke is a great fighter, with great power, speed,
endurance, and skill. She is sometimes a bit naive, though. There are
few who can beat Ryuunosuke in a fight.

Ryuunosuke's Father
Ryuunosuke's rather strange father. Ryuunosuke's father believes in the
greatness of men, and works hard to prove this to all. He is as great
a fighter as Ryuunosuke, but is more devious and has no honor. He also
loves the sea.

Cherry
Cherry, or Sakuranbou, is a wandering monk. He isn't particularly
strong, but he does eat everything, and has a good knowledge of the occult.
He has various supernatural powers, but they often don't work quite right.
