Official ECG5 T-Shirt

It's here! Finally, after long waiting and anticipation, the design for the East Coast Gathering V T-Shirt is complete! After a lot of toying with different designs and ideas, it came down to a simple design which most effectively gets the point across - "with attitude". I had the idea to do something incorporating some of the different wheels found on our cars, and ultimately that landed on the front, in the "V". That's Roman for 5 for those questioning it, or keep it simply and say it's for "Victory" after dishin' up a can o whoop-ass on some stang. ;-) Anyway, I started with a big blank page and went from there. Was browsing thru the hundreds of 3S related images and just couldn't let the one that ended up being the back go. Was playing with the Wheel-V design and the ECG1999 text over the image, but it just got in the way of the car! SO ultimately ended up using that as the front. Then was working with the 3000GT logo at the top of the back pic and the Stealth at the bottom and the text in various places over the image. Finally shifted things around so the 3000GT/Stealth International was at the top and the text was in the lower corner, with nothing in the way of the car image. That looked so good printed. Simple, but no if's, and's or but,s - just flat out how it is! Added the 3Si.org website to the front as a final touch. Trust me, the design process was much more involved that it sounds here. But it was fun to do! The front design is intended to be about 4" x 3" in the upper left corner. The back will be full page size, about 10+" wide and 8" high. Shirt color will be the light grey. Should be a good looking shirt. They'll be headed to the printers this week, and drop shipped to the hotels for next weekend. I can't say exactly what the cost per shirt will be, but figure in the $15-20 range, that's what they have been in the past. Eric Lotter is coordinating the printing of them.
