Dear Parent, For close monitoring of every student as and when required , the department has introduced a proctorial card on an experimental basis. The front view (see fig to right) of the card will have all the academic and
extra-curricular details your child. The performance and attendance particulars are added
graphically and continuously. The details are so arranged , that it presents the complete
picture of the student whenever required . It is therefore informative without any support from faculty/HoD of the department. A few changes may be warranted later but the card will be a
useful resource of
information about the student. You may request to see the card at any time during your child’s
study years in SVIT. We sincerely hope that it will help you keep track of your
child’s progress – at your convenience. |

Proctorial card Rear View |

|
The rear view is a progress report that is filled up every time a result is
announced. This will primarily provide information about the subjects that
the child finds difficult (low marks) or needs urgent help (failure). Because of the comprehensive nature of the card and the
information stored, a teacher will usually be able to take an informative
decision. This is likely to reduce the stress on the student. The student has to meet the designated proctor periodically (at
least once in a month). The proctor and student sign in the space provded while the proctor will record very briefly ,ANY POINTS that might be important for future. This cumulative recording will be an invaluable source for taking decisions or
giving counsel in a more meaningful way. Your suggestions are most welcome on this system. |
