Mr. DS. Rao, M.Tech, (PhD) JNTU , MBA

Associate Professor - HoD

 Mr. DS Rao , who studied under Dr. GR. Babu ,later joined ECIL R&D. He  worked in Television R&D division  for 20 years. His other areas of interest are :  new product development, marketing and also in establishing Quality System procedures in an organization. He was picked for training the trainers for ISO 9001. He is also actively involved in learning new technologies. He had a brief 4 year stint in the IT industry in application software and networking technologies training. He was also in charge of the node that provided private high-speed internet access (dial-up and leased lines) during the early years of internet in Hyderabad (1998-   ). Subsequently, he shifted to teaching by joining the ECE department of  Vasavi College of Engineering , Ibrahimbagh.  He worked there fro 4 ½ years during which he established the Embedded systems Lab  and taught  C/C++ , Analog Electronic circuits, Linear Integrated Circuits and Applications, Pulse & Digital circuits, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers before shifting to SVIT.  In SVIT, he worked under Dr. GR. Babu Professor & HoD. He established the  Microprocessors Lab and currently teaches  Microprocessors and Interfacing  circuits, Signals & Systems, Analog Communications.
