| So United won the championship by 3 points from Aston Villa.The biggest surprise was that Sunderland failed to go up after being in the top 3 nearly all season. Looking at this table now,the goals for column doesn't look as impressive as my memory thought it would be.Still, back then ,being in that incredible atmosphere was a great experience in itself. |
