The Eccentric Times

The Eccentric Times Team

Paul Nelson

Paul Nelson (who, as far as we understand, is no relation to the famous Admiral Horatio) is a founder member of The Eccentric Times. We also understand that he's not related to Jack Nicholson, even though the resemblance is uncanny! His main interests in life are eastern relaxation classes and kung-fu movies.  Hide the chocolate cake when he's around.

Adam Makeham

Adam Makeham's official role in The Eccentric Times's team is Moral Support, although he does from time to time contribute articles to the magazine. While members of the team try and write their articles Adam will often be standing there saying random things that make no sense!

If you had to sum up Adam in one word it would of course be.... ELVIS! He's absolutely fanatical about "The King". He's so much of a fan that he even dresses up like him on special occasions. He's a multi-talented entertainer, who's unstoppable on the karaoke.

Despite being a 100% heterosexual male, he has the rather odd obsession of seeing men dress up as women!

Danya Day

It's not often you meet a highly fashionable grandmother with blonde mountain-girl locks, but then Danya Day is truly one of a kind! She was the person with the original inspiration for the magazine and has been a real driving force behind it. Whether it be making cups of tea or motivating people to write articles, Danya has been a big help and inspiration to us all. She truly puts the ECCENTRIC in the Eccentric Times, but then we wouldn't want her any other way!

Eve Chaloner

Every magazine needs a feisty scouse woman in their ranks and the Eccentric Times is no exception!  Eve contributes ideas and the occasional article.

Mark Sampson

The most mysterious member of the Eccentric Times team, Mark Sampson is a very shy and private person. He's not willing to show his face online in case anybody recognises him from the "wanted" posters displayed around the country.
