ERIE COUNTY JUDGING:
VOICE of DEMOCRACY and PATRIOTS PEN judging for Erie County was held at the Alden Post # 7967 on November 19th (Clarence Buob presiding). The winners are:
VOICE of DEMOCRACY: Elizabeth Anger of Amherst, sponsored by the Frontiersman Post #7545.
PATRIOTS PEN: Sarah E. Neville of Grand Island, sponsored by Grand Island Post #9249.
SIXTH DISTRICT JUDGING:
VOICE of DEMOCRACY and PATRIOTS PEN judging for Sixth District was held at the Hamburg Township Post #1419. The winners are:
VOICE of DEMOCRACY: Michelle Bukoskey from Cherry Creek, NY, sponsored by the Pine Valley Memorial Post #2522. Her entry has been sent on to the Department VOD Chairman for State Competition.
PATRIOTS PEN: Sarah E. Neville, an 8th grade student at St. Stephens School in Grand Island, sponsored by DeGlopper Post #9249. Her entry has been sent to the Department Chariman for entry in the New York State Competition.
