Technical Support Engineer (Level 3): Responsible for level 2 field trial support of the Salix7000 Series Next Generation Media Gateway Exchange (Salix7000 Series NGMGX). Installed, provisioned and maintained the subsystems that together constitute the Salix7000 Series NGMGX. The Salix7000 series of next generation media gateway switching equipment consisted of hardware redundant soft-switch call setup controllers managing the convergence of data and voice traffic over ATM and IP based backbone transport on to SONET ring access nodes. Executed the Salix7000 NGMGX interop and acceptance test plans. Provided demonstrations and training on the Salix7000 Series NGMGX functionality to potential customers in field trials and trade shows.
