GM Innovation

Some folks are worried about designing new power trains. Some think fuel cells - which can directly convert energy in hydrocarbon fuels into electricity - are an important automotive concept. Others work to develop compact, modern flywheel systems to store energy. The Japanese and Germans work to develop new, electric powertrains.

Fools. Forget all that stupid stuff. General Motors is where the REAL innovation is at. They're doing things the Germans and Japanese could never think of.

How about this. "Brand manager David G. Nottoli rejiggered Cadillac's traditional 'wreath and crest' emblem. He took one of the six birds facing left, turned it around, colored it red, and made it a cartoon mascot in a play to attract baby boomers.1"

WOOF. Now that is competition. That is innovation. When the Japanese hear about this, they're gonna close up shop. They'll never sell another Toyota. How can they compete with this?
