Campfire 7/19/02

People started arriving around 4, when Dave and Robbie both showed up. It was about to rain,
so we just sat in the basement fooling around with an old NES. After a few rounds of Skate or Die
more people began to show up, concurrent with the arrival of a huge storm. The rain kept coming, but 
everyone was fine just sitting in the basement, kitchen, or living room. At about 8:00 the rain stopped 
enough to go out and start the fire. A pile of dry wood and some gasoline caused an explosion that nearly
took of the old eyebrows, but a roaring fire had been started. I spent most of the time taking
pictures with the camera. People wandered in and out of the house as well as sitting around the fire
At about 11:00 the wheel of death was set ablaze, twice, because the first attempt ended in mediocrity. 
Dairy queen and pizza were also provided by the guests as meals, and everyone seemed content. A small 
musical jam featuring Pat Kane, "Masturbation Blues" was performed with Jim on Bass. At about 11:30 
everyone not sleeping over filtered out, and the rest of us partied late into the night, featuring much
strobe light dancing. All in all a good campfire, with something for everyone there.
