Information:
Twilight Camp is an outdoor experience for girls who are going into 1st
through 6th grade. Activities
are based on the Girl Scout program and may include arts and crafts, outdoor
camp craft skills, songs, games, and environmental education. Girls are placed in units according to age
level, and are supervised by trained volunteer staff. Twilight Camp is an exciting summer
adventure, a chance for your daughter to make new friends, learn new skills,
and broaden her experiences! The $20 fee
goes towards t-shirt, dinner, snacks, activities, supplies, badges and
patches.
Financial
Assistance:
Assistance is available through the Girl Scouts of Michigan Trails Council in
the form of a campership. Any Girl Scout
may apply; each girl’s needs and the availability of funds determine the amount
of assistance granted. To request
financial assistance, just fill out the form enclosed and mail it in with your
daughter’s registration. Note: Cookie
dough earned from the 2006 cookie sale may be used for Day Camp.

Needs: Girls Scouts
of Michigan Trails attempts to offer day camp opportunities to all Girl
Scouts. Please call the Day Camp
Coordinator at the
Volunteers: Volunteers are what make our Day Camp
successful! You do not need to commit to
all 4 days. A variety of positions are
available, but the most abundant are Unit Leaders and Assistants who lead
activities and supervise a group of 8-15 girls.
Each group has 2 or 3 adults assigned to it. Other positions include: Health Staff,
Registrar and Kitchen Help.
Refund
Policy: Camp fees
are only refunded for the following reasons:
1.
The
registration has been withdrawn three weeks before the start of camp.
2.
If
the registration is not accepted because capacity has been reached for the camp
and we are unable to accommodate any more campers.
Refunds are not
given when activities are canceled as the result of “Acts of God”. Contact Sue Price at
