So the show aired at 11:00.

Derek, and Glenn, and Phil and I got together at around 9:00.  We went to this pub and drank beers.
At around 10:30 Derek stood up on his chair and changed the channel on the bars TV to The Comedy Network.  Mike Bullard was on, Paula Poundstone was the guest.  I would have liked to have heard the interview but the bar was noisy and the TV wasn't very loud.  I suddenly started feeling a little bit weird.

This was a cool bar.  It was a bar where people who are cool go.  I was out of place here.
I started to realize that it was going to be pretty moe watching our show in a public cool bar.
Moe is a word that we use to describe something that is corny, or embarrassingly cheesy.
It was going to be pretty moe watching the show here.  Obviously that was why we would do it.
The show came on at 11:00 and we sat and drank our beers and watched.  It was especially moe watching The South pole rap crew... That felt really Moe.  Phil, Glenn, Derek and myself all watching ourselves dance.  Embarrassing...  Obviously that was the point, but still embarrassing none the less.  Glenn in fact was so Moed out that he hid behind his menu, occasionally peering out from behind it, until the dance was complete.

Then The Bag Lady came on...  some people across from us were watching the TV confused, they didn't really look over at us...   I was embarrassed.  I think I should go places on friday nights that don't have televisions.  I think there is something painfully moe about watching your own show in a public bar.  It's so moe in fact that we are going to begin doing it every week.  We sometimes enjoy wallowing in the moeness.  We are a bunch of moes at times.

See ya tomorrow,

Tom
