Published Works:

 

Exchange Editor. “The Grapevine.” 1988-1989.  Rancho Cotate High School’s student newspaper. Written four articles on school life and issues, and helped edited the paper.

 

Editor-in-Chief.   “LEA Newsletter.”   1994 – 1998.  Successfully written, edited, and published various articles for the newsletter about Lea Salonga’s career. Successfully published three formats of the LEA Newsletter: paper, e-mail, and web. Founded LEA Newsletter for Lea Salonga fans in the Music Forum at Prodigy Online in 1994 and then branched out on the Internet. It went from an idea to reality to a thriving newsletter with over 100 subscribers and a staff. Interviewed subjects for articles for publication. Advertised and promoted the newsletter in the Filipino and the Theatre Arts communities on the Internet. Administered mailing list and newsletter via record keeping, assigning projects, keyboarded letters to fellow subscribers and staff, and other assorted tasks as needed. Researched articles for publication, keyboarded articles into templates for publication, and designed the layout of the newsletter for publication.

 

“The Barricade.”    1993 – 1998.  Successfully written five articles about “Les Miserables,” which includes character analysis, reviews, and opinion pieces about the show.

 

“Sun and Moon.”    1995.   Successfully written an album review for the Japanese Miss Saigon cast recording. 

 

“D-Files.”    1998.   Successfully written a fan fiction devoted to The X-Files called “Searching for the Truth.”
