First of all, we have to understand where are the noise coming from. Generally, IT'S EVERYWHERE! From the thin windows, windscreen, wheels (road noise), doors, seals..... etc.

Needless to say, to enjoy your ride, the most worth money is to spend on sound proofing your car. No matter what car you are driving, all cars will benefit from extra sound proofing. Unfortunately, it is important to understand absolutely no noise can ever be accomplished in a car no matter how extensive is the sound proof. However, we can reduce noise. 

As we know, sound travel by vibration (basic physics), to reduce noise, sound proofing will have to reduce vibration by means of damping and absorbing of noise by means of insulation. There are many methods as well as products able to do this. And of course, effectiveness will be different and subjected to budget one can afford. So here we are - THE EBB's WAY - combination of using insulation, dampening and suppressing.

  1. Deadening of vibration using 3 layered deadening materials for the front wheel arch and Dampening Mat for rear wheel arches - works as sound barrier to reduce vibration and road noise.

  1. Dampening by using our new & exclusive ProMat5 - is our best noise & vibration Dampening mat. It has superior noise dampening characteristics and is designed to exceed the performance of our basic dampening mat. It is made from a very pliant synthetic visco-elastomeric compound that is laminated onto a layer of soft, compressible closed-cell acoustic foam. Promat-5 is highly recommended for use on door panels at an unbeatable advantage.  
  2. Dampening by using our new & exclusive Dampening Mat - The inherent characteristics of the material makes it suitable for reducing road noise and vibrations by impeding the passage of soundwaves. And hence, resulting in good noise and vibration transmission loss over a broad frequency range.
  3. Suppressing by using our new & exclusive Suppression Pad - a self-adhering vibration & resonance defeating material that is applied onto a vehicle’s door, roof, fender & rear quarter panel to suppress structural, engine & road borne vibrations. And hence, resulting in getting rids of panel rattling and drumming and replaces "tin-can" panel ringing with luxury car solidness.
     
  4. Insulation by using Aeroflex/Insulflex - a good noise absorber to further reduce the noise coming in from the doors. Its flexible, closed cell and lightweight elastomeric material designed for insulating. The flexibility and smooth surface enables quick, easy installation and neat appearance. Its high elasticity minimises vibrations and resonance. And its lightweight so you won't have to worry about increasing fuel consumption!
