Sonnette came to the EAW in its early days, following Shaed Bloodgrave over from the Author Avatar Association immediately after coming back from an injury, when she had been blinded by a laser shot to the eyes from another wrestler interfering in her match with the incubus known as Tafkap. Disillusioned by AAA booker Rogers' consistent failure to book her in any title matches, particularly for the AAA Mobian Dimension Championship, she soon broke ties with the AAA completely and became a full-time EAW competitor.
Sonnette's early career was rather uneventful. She started out in the Hardcore division, but was unable to break into the title picture, which was being dominated by Domikaze Dave, Kidd Foxx, and The Flyboy. In a cross-promotional PPV, she found herself forced to team up with, of all people, Hollywood Hogan among others as part of a team deathmatch that ended with the reintroduction of Domikaze Dave's old stable, and Sonnette beating Hogan all the way up the ramp for costing them the match.
Sonnette eventually captured the Hardcore Title, entering into a feud with Chyna, who joined the EAW as Hunter Hearst Helmsley's bodyguard, over who was the toughest woman in the fed. Her friend Rik Felstrom entered the EAW to watch her back, and teamed with her to take on HHH and Chyna in a mixed tag match, which Sonnette won after missile dropkicking a steel chair into Hunter's face, becoming the first (and for a long time, only) person to cleanly pin HHH. The feud was to culminate in a Title vs. Title match at All Hallow's Extreme '99, where Sonnette would put her Hardcore Title on the line against Chyna's Women's Title, but scandle in the EAW offices resulted in the PPV being cancelled and the federation shutting down until January 2000.
When the EAW reopened under new management, Sonnette was one of the first to return, and became the first champion of the new year, awarded both the Hardcore Title she had been defending and the Women's Title that Chyna forfeited by not returning. She and Flyboy entered into a running feud over the Hardcore Title, which included Flyboy stealing the belt, Sonnette offering him an unspecified title shot, and then awarding him the Women's Title when he won, taking back her Hardcore Title. Flyboy immediately vacated, but he remains on the record as the EAW's only male Women's Champion.
After an unprecedented six months as Hardcore Champion, Sonnette's reign came to an end in a Graveyard Match against Mortis, who would later be revealed to be none other than Ryokami Kageshi. Mortis used the zombified body from future EAW Commissioner Lynxara's first life, left when Sonnette's evil counterpart Dark Sonic murdered her in the early days of the AAA, to administer her finisher (the Cat's Cradle DDT) to Sonnette, allowing him to secure the win.
Sonnette later entered the tournament for the new EAW Television Title, reaching the finals along with fellow Red Tooth & Claw members T-Bone and Colley Dogstar, as well as Duke "The Dumpster" Drosse, winning the final four-way to become the first EAW TV Champion... only to drop the belt less than a week later to Krist "Overlord" Jonsson, who she beat in the semifinals. Sonnette has also won the Cruiserweight Championship from Nova, only to forfeit it when she needed some vacation time to return home to Mobius. However, none other than Triple H himself had been watching Sonnette's career, and used his influence with President Gokuo to put Sonnette on a path towards a bigger prize when she returned.
The EAW World Championship. Sonnette captured it for the first time in a rooftop casket match against Flyboy and Triple H, becoming the second female and first furry to earn a world title in a major fed. During Sonnette's reign as World Champion, Lance Storm would return to the EAW... not quite over an unrequited love for Sonnette. He took it out on her closest friends, including the ones she spurned Lance for: T-Bone and Lupe. Lance was vilified when he attacked Lupe with a steel chair to the stomach, unaware that she was pregnant with T-Bone's cubs at the time. This led to a three-way match between Sonnette, Nova, and Lance, in the first Dome of Devastation match outside Celebrity Deathmatch, highlights of which include Sonnette landing quills-first on Lance's arm, impaling it, and eventually escaping from the dome first to retain her belt. She would also lose the belt to Blink and reclaim it in a rematch, before finally dropping the belt to Triple H thanks to the aid of his new manager: Ric Flair.
Sonnette fought Blink and Hunter over the title for a few months, but she had fallen into a slump, and decided to take time off to spend with her family, until her surprise return at the post-Cataclysm Rumble... back in blue. A one-time gimmick of using the classic Sonic name and costume as a member of the Blue World Order for a six-person tag match against the Right to Censor, led by former bWo founding member Steven Richards, has turned into a regular thing as the bWo has been reformed, just looking to have a little fun... and paint the town blue.
