Lostbo-Lostbo is a short trail which connects to Upper Black Beauty. This trail is very steep at the top; it is so steep that nless you get alot of snow it doesnt hold it. When you go down the top section you have two options, to straigt line it and ski up the hill across to slow you down or you canmake a turn or two then ski into the thinner portion of the trail. If you want-rather then going right after you do the top portion you can hike up the left and get 100 feet of powder.

Lostbo Glades-Once you are done with Lostbo you can either take a left and go down Upper Black Beauty or you can take your chances with the Lostbo Glades. the Lostbo Glades are scary and infact I have never skied it but if the conditions are right then there is a slight chance that I might try. The whole glade is steep with rocks and tight trees. This is a true experts only glade. The glade is closed more often then not.It ends out coming onto the trail Hi Road. I reccomend that you look at it from Hi Road before attempting to ski it.
Carter Notch Glades-As you start to go down Upper Maple Slalom, look to the skiers right, this trail has been changed from a black diamond as seen on the trailmap, to a bouble black diamond. I have yet to ski it, so I don't know much about it. I should get pictures of it sometime this ski-season.
Upper Galloping Goose-"Is that a trail?" that just may be your thoughts for you first time seeing this trail from the lift. Basically it is a cliffband with 4 or 5 cliffs which can be riden if there is alot of powder. Most people choose not to do this and to ski around the cliffs in what its like s-turns. This trail is awesome to see people do from the lift. Upper Galloping Goose pours onto the trail Upper Maple Slalom, which is a fun trail indeed.
White Knucle-This trail is a true New England classic. If you follow Upper Black Beauty until it takes a sharp turn, don't take it because instead(ability and conditions permitting)you should try White Knuckle. This trail first rolls at a moderate grade then it get very-steep for a short section(watch out for thin cover) then back to moderate. This trail may or maynot have moguls depending on conditions. Once you get trough the top section you go down into a thinner about 10 foot wide section but it is not steep you if you can handle the top you will be able to handle this fine. It continues to roll down until you are at the sugar glades, which is an itermediate, but yet fun, glade.

Upper Maple Slalom- This trail has moguls 99% of the time. It can get icy at the top but once into it it is pure moguls. It is actually pretty steep but hey if you fall down the trail you will end up right next to the ski patrol shack. Look at this trail from the lift if the conditions or the steepness of it does not suit you ability then head for Upper Black Beauty.
The Upper trails can only be accessed by the red double lift and they tend not to open until around Chrismas Vacation. The upper trails are composed of 5 double black diamonds, 1 black diamond, and 1 blue square. They are all very exciting trails but please note, there is no beginner terrain from the top!

Upper Black Beauty- Another exapmle of classic New England skiing. Be sure to head for this trail early in the day. It is easy at first but watch out and make sure you don't fall down the steeps and the cliffs to the skiers right. Once you take the turn to the right, just before White Knuckle, it gradually gets thinner but still doable. This trail is good to do once you have mastered all ove the lower blue squared like Galloping Goose and Juniper. This is a fun and long trail if you take a left at the intersection to contine down to Surgarbush and trails like that.
