Wonderland
Chapter I Pt. II
Alice opens the door to her room
and walks in. Hmm not bad she thinks to herself. It’s about the size
of her old bedroom, with a fairly decent looking bed covered in pink and blue.
There’s a dresser in the corner and a light fixture hanging in the middle
of the room. She walks over to the bed after turning on the light switch,
and reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small packet made of tin foil.
She unwraps and inside are a few tablets of acid. I really need this but crap
I’m getting low. She pops a tablet on her tongue and lets it start to
dissolve a bit before swallowing it. She puts her head down on her pillows
and closes her eyes and drifts away to sleep.
“I’m late I’m late I’m late. There is no time for
me to stay in one place I’m late and must away for my very important
date.” someone says. I open my eyes and immediately wonders where I
am. I look around and I’m definitely not in the tunnels anymore. I’m
surrounded by a field of purple and blue flowers with blooms almost the side
of my head. The sky is a weird greenish pink color but it seems oddly appropriate.
“Hello…who’s there and where am I?”
“I can’t dally much longer, but I am the White Rabbit and you
are in the land of Workeny.” the White Rabbit says.
“White Rabbit?” Alice says. I then turn my head to where the voice
seems to be coming from and I see a rabbit standing on it’s hind legs
wearing an overcoat with at least 3 pocket watches sticking out, and 4 watches
on each wrist.
“Yes, that is who I am but as for where I am is not where I should be.”
He then dashes away and I trie to follow him but he lost me when he dashes
through a thicket.
“I wonder how I got here.” I says idly to myself. She then continues
down the path a little bit and finds herself in the middle of a large clearing.
It’s a large grassy area (the grass is a reddish color but for some
reason that doesn’t seem all that odd to Alice.). In the center of the
clearing is the largest mushroom that I have ever seen it’s easily 4
feet high and about 6 feet around. I start to walk towards it when I hear
a knock on the door, and I truly open my eyes and wake up. “Yes? Who’s
there?” I say.
“We just wanted to make sure…”
“That you’re ok, you’ve been in there for…”
“Almost 14 hours. I’m sorry but…”
“We don’t have any breakfast left for…”
“You but we do have lunch now if you would…”
“Like to come join us in the dining room”
“I’ll be right out, I didn’t realize it before but I am
absolutely starving.”
“Come out and join us when you are…”
“Ready darling, you can meet the…”
“Rest of our family.”
