Dream

Dream is a funny medium, where else can you be something you aren’t yet still be you, other then the Internet? But unlike the web of information, the events inside the web of dreams are actually real and occurring. If you are having a dream that you are a Viking and are reaping a pillaging a village you are actually reaping and pillaging a village. It is real you can smell the fire, you can taste the blood on your lips, and you can feel the cold hard steel in your hands. To almost everyone in the so-called real world dreams are nothing then an escape from reality, not an alternate form of it. There are a few who know the truth and those are the people who hold the true power in dream, well aside from the dream king that is, but more about him later. The people who actually know it an alternate reality can go through the barrier in between dreams and do what ever they want to other people. Whether it is murder or rape or a thousand other taboo things in the society of man. Dream is the true element for humans; it has become the true element over time since humans started denying their base human instincts. As long as you cause no lasting damage to the realm of dreams you have nothing to worry about, you don’t have to worry about the dream police picking you up for dream murder or dream rape. If you do permanent damage to the realm of dreams however the Dream King will visit you and no one wants that. The Dream King is a very lenient King and has one simple credo and that is “Dream what you shall dream, harm you shall harm, but if ye harm the realm, for you Dream shall come.”
