Hey Commish! Great site! Congratulations on the success of the Eaton Broomball League. One question though. Your resemblance to league superstar Anthony Lombardo is striking. You even have the same email address. Are you two related? Oliver Klosoff, Bangor, Maine Commissioner: Yes that is very intriguing. We both seem to have the same handsome qualities. To answer your question though, I am going to have to deny any relation to Anthony. Although it would no doubt be the thrill of my life to be considered his friend, I am not close to him. I enjoy having a hottie superstar like him to ignite fan interest in the league. Thanks for writing!

Dear Commissioner, I heard that Kara House will be moving back to Ohio for the summer. How will this affect her performance in the league? P. North, Anaheim, CA. Commissioner: Good question. The main reason for her moving back to Ohio for the summer is to play more tennis with her brother-in-law (who is extremely athletic and awesome at tennis). That will no doubt get her in better shape for the next EBL game. Broomball is a grueling sport and Kara is already in tip-top shape. Playing more tennis can only make her even stronger.

Greetings from Canada! I was wondering if you would be announcing try-outs for the Eaton Broomball League. I would love to join! A. B., Windsor, Ontario Commissioner: At this time, the EBL is not allowing Canadians (especially those from Windsor) to try out for the league. Due to circumstances that I will not elaborate on at this time, several players are bitter towards your city and country. This may or may not include disappointing strip clubs, rude border guards, difficulty in re-entering the U.S., and the lack of hockey this year. I'm sorry your request cannot be accomodated but thanks for writing.

Hello Mr. Commissioner, I have never played broomball. Is it hard to handle those big sticks? B. Banks, Miami, FL Commissioner: Yes, it takes a lot of skill to handle a big stick. Currently, several of our female players claim to be experts at handling a big stick. Courtney, Laini, and Kaylene practice handling a stick frequently. In fact, Courtney's husband wishes she would practice more often. The sticks are hard and long so it takes a lot to harnass their power. Sticks are available at your local EBL affiliated arena. Good luck!

Dear Commissioner, What would happen if a broomball game ended in a tie? I've never heard of an overtime or shootout. How do you decide the winner? - Hugh Jass, Fargo, ND Commissioner: In the EBL's history, there has been a tie or two. Due to our league structure, we do not have overtime periods or shootouts. However, I hate ties. As commissioner I have the authority to decide who was the winner based on many factors. For example: which team had more shots? Or which team seemed to have the better opportunities? Which team had the more sportsmanlike players? Which team had more players without outstanding DVD's? The list goes on, but I think you get the point. Also, I admit, I can be bribed. I have a soft spot for money, Star Wars things, certain types of food, and hot chicks.
