| LFP mayoral canidate Mar Estabrook has only the welfare of the people of Glens Falls on his mind, twenty-four-seven. But for the rest of the time, all he can think of is the cool guy. "Once I was in the kitchen, dumping out some old mountain dew when he walked in." Upon entering, the cool guy immediately remarked humorously that the said act was a crime in some states. In this case Marc, unable to think of anything to say, only responded with a slight laughter. "I should have told him it was flatter than a 13 year old" confessed Marc later. "He would have thought I was "OK" in his book then." Indeed, the saddest words are often "what could have been." Another incident happened recently. Marc Estabrook was brushing his teeth in the community bathroom when the cool guy emerged from a stall. Upon hearing Estabrook spit, the cool guy remarked, with an air of whimsy and nonchalnce that could only be the happy child of a quick wit and and a gentle upbringing, "You spit in my Brita water filter didnt you?" Upon this comment, the cool guy noticed Marc's blink-182 shirt, and the two thereupon entered into a lively and liberal discussion of the band blink 182. Marc later remarked that he did not have the "balls" to ask him if he saw the band live. "And the clincher is, I dont even know his real name" says Marc in a clinching manner. |
