THE sombrero

Not only is the sombrero an influential peice
of headgear, but it is an essential part of
rubbish. Without the sombrero, the band would
simply not function properly. The sombrero has
many powers including the stimulation of creative
juices as well as acting as a powerful stomach
pain reliever. Here is some history on our famous
friend:


-discovered some time in 2000
-used for the first time at the Exibition in Ottawa
-broken by Mike Datson
-fixed by Mike Datson
-broken even more in the fixing process by Mike Datson
-broken even more by Chris Wyllie
-played while injured at Straits
-damage discovered by Gilles, the owner
-to date the sombrero has been used 13 times on stage

The sombrero is currently hanging up in
Pat's basement, waiting for the next rubbish
show where it can come to life once more
