rubbish has also confirmed a show @ Walter Baker Sat Oct 27th. Being put on by Superstar Records, factor eight will also be on the bill. More details to come later.
rubbish wishes to thank all those in attendance for the WTC benefit show @ The Cock N Bull on Friday. The night was a complete success, raising $20 000 for the Red Cross and families victimized by the NYC tragedy. The show was also web-casted on www.canadianbands.net . More details to soon come as to when you can catch it on there again.

In sadder unrelated news Jason Young, bassist of THERMOclinE, passed on Mon Oct 15th. The members of rubbish wish to send out condolences to Jason's family, friends, and bandmates in their time of grieving. rubbish completely admires THERMOclinE's huge success in the local scene, much of which was attributed to Jason's dedication and hard work, and encourages everyone to pay respects Wed 2-5pm/7-9pm @ The Kelly Funeral Home 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, attend the funeral Thurs in the Chapel of the Kelly Funeral Home @ 1pm, or make a donation in Jason's name to the Ottawa Distress Centre (http://www.dcottawa.on.ca/).

rubbish has confirmed a show Fri Oct 12th. Taking place at the Cock 'N Bull (Richmond Rd.), rubbish is set to take the stage at 8pm. The night promises to be an evening of great music, with such local blockbuster acts like THERMOclinE, Stumble, Daddy Cool and the Groove Bug, and Circuit. The show is also all ages, and admission is the fee of a donation. Be generous as all proceeds go towards the Red Cross and families victimized by Sept 11th's tragic events.
After two weeks in the studio rubbish has completed work on a new track. Titled "Planet Zero", the track will be featured on the upcoming Superstar Records High School Bands compilation to be released in March. More info to come about how to pick up the compilation featuring Ottawa's best Highschool acts (including factor eight) to come later.
rubbish will be filming scenes for their upcoming video for "Home" Saturday, Oct 6th at an undisclosed location. This shoot is intended strictly to get the story line footage complete. More info regarding how YOU too can be a part of the video to come as it happens!
rubbish wishes to thank all of those in attendence at the SJHS Battle of the Bands in Perth, ON, and congratulate Rival Currents on their victory. Fun was had by all and, more importantly, the word of rubbish has spread that much further!
