rubbish would like to personally thank all those in attendence at the 20th Annual Nepean Showcase Battle of the Bands @ The Nepean Sportsplex on Friday. The evening was a great success, showcasing Ottawa's best highschool acts. After closing the show with an energetic half hour set, rubbish was selected by the Showcase judges as the champions of the night and given 10 hours of recording time at Distortion Studios One (where the latest "Once In A While" and "Home" were recorded over the summer.) Runners up included Ryan's side project factor eight in second, and local punk band No Time in third.

With newfound recording time, expect rubbish to be entering the studio again shortly to record new material. More info to come as it happens!

Updates to the site include a new show in the show archive.
