rubbish has confirmed that they will be playing at the Nepean Sportsplex on Canada Day Sunday, July 1st from 6 - 7pm. rubbish played this show last year and are looking forward to doing it again this year. This show will be free so come out and support them!
rubbish wishes to thank all of those in attendence at the Barrhaven Days show on June 8th. With one of the biggest audiences to date, Barrhaven Days was a huge success and rubbish received a great response from the crowd.
rubbish also wishes to thank all of those in attendence at the show in Newburgh. Although with a smaller crowd in comparison to that of Barrhaven Days, the Newburgh show was a success within itself in the sense that it expanded rubbish's fanbase beyond the city line borders of Ottawa. rubbish wishes to thank Alysin for organizing the show, and all the other bands that were on the bill.
In other news, Ryan's side project factor eight will be playing in the Bluesfest Battle of the Bands on Saturday, June 30th at 1pm at the Rideau Center Terrace. This show will be free aswell so any support would be much welcomed!

rubbish is pleased to announce two confirmed shows so far coming up in June.
The first show is on Friday, June 8th at Larkin Park where rubbish will be closing the night's Barrhaven Days band exhibit. rubbish will take the stage from 10 - 11pm. Following the Teen Expo catastrophe this will now be rubbish's first all ages show in almost 4 months so please come out and support them! Also featured on the bill will be Ryan's side project factor eight (6-7pm), and rubbish's official roadie Greg Coutts' band (5-6pm).
The second show will happen the following Friday after the Barrhaven Days show on June 15th. rubbish will be playing an out-of-town show at Newburgh Hall in Newburgh, ON (about 15 minutes outside of Kingston). Tickets are on sale for $5 at the door and all next week through Alyson and the show starts at 6:30pm. rubbish is set to take the stage at about 9pm and are extremely looking forward to expanding their fan base outside of Ottawa. Also on the bill include All Systems Down, Sinakill, 5 Pieces Hungry, Slaves of Spanky, and 5th Aid.
rubbish wishes to apologize for the cancelled Teen Expo show last Saturday. The show was called off due to a rain storm. rubbish would like to thank all of those in attendance anyways, and especially those who waited out the storm in hopes of the event continuing on as planned.
