rubbish will be featured on Tuesday Aug 14th on XFM's Indie Air @ 7pm, as part of the new battle of the bands as hosted by XFM for a position at SnoJam on September 8th. rubbish was selected as one of the eight finalists after dropping off their new demo CD for the competition last Weds. RUBBISH ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO VOTE FOR THEM AT http://www.101xfm.ca/contests/battle.html !!! Voting is simple, select the dot beside rubbish's name, enter your name and your email address (both essential) and then click submit. In order to not have your vote disqualified don't vote twice (under the same name/email addy that is...)

In other news, over the last week you may have noticed that www.eatmyrhubarb.com no longer links to the rubbish site. This is because namezero.com, the host of eatmyrhubarb.com has decided that the free ride is over, and that the name can/and will be auctioned off to the highest bidder (others who would want such an obsecure and idiotic url must have problems). Anyways, until further notice, the site can only be accessed through www.geocities.com/eatmyrhubarb/main.html or the old angelfire page www.angelfire.com/myband/rubbish/ . rubbish is sorry for any inconvienience, and a new server is to be set up as soon as possible.
