Comments:
Despite the foul weather conditions, rubbish's biggest crowd to date gathered at Larkin Park to see rubbish close the Barrhaven Days festivities. rubbish played an extremely odd set at this show in retrospect. "Summer" hasn't been played since, and this was one of the last shows that rubbish played covers at (3 Doors Down's "Kryptonite" and silverchair's "Slave"). This show was also the unveiling of rubbish's newest song "Masterplan".
Fan Review:
Well the guys put on a great show. It rained for a short while, but that didn't cause people to leave! They opened up their set with "Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down which definitely attracted many people over to the stage. They played lots of their own songs such as "Pickles and Mustard", "Dad Song", "Nothing Lasts Forever" and many more. They also played their own rendition of Slave by silverchair, which I thought was very well done considering that they had just learnt it this week. At the end of the show, there was a few misunderstandings between rubbish and the tech crew (the tech crew called them Plush) but otherwise they played a great show.
