| At some point, most of us long to take a walk down memory lane. Many people would love to go back and visit a place where they spent joyous times in their youths. For us, Spankie�s is such a place. We have both eaten there dozens |

| of times, and it has been a favorite eating place of ours for many years. Because of its location at 203 E. 9th Street in Cookeville near the Tennessee Tech Campus, it remains a very popular spot to get a great meal. One of the house specialties at Spankie�s is the Baked Potatoes. They come with a wide variety of toppings including Chicken Stir-Fry, Steak & Mushroom, Chicken & Mushroom, Cheesy Bacon, and Broccoli & Cheese. They also offer a nice selection of fresh salads. These include Oriental Chicken, Shrimp & Asparagus, Chicken Club, Chicken Caesar, Honey Mustard, and Fried Chicken. If sandwiches are what you crave, Spankie�s will not disappoint. You will find a large selection including a Pork Melt, Chicken BLT, Rueben, Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Texas Chicken, French Dip, Philly Steak, Beef & Swiss, and more. For those of you who are really hungry, try one of the delicious entrees. We recommend the Beef Stroganoff, Cajun Shrimp, Lemon Pepper Chicken, Beef Kabobs, Chicken kabobs, or Steak Medallions. During our recent visit, we had a few of our old favorites, the Bacon Cheeseburger, the Chicken Quesadilla, and the Chicken Spankie�s. Everything we had during our visit was perfectly prepared and tasted great. The Chicken Spankie�s has been a signature dish for this restaurant for many years. It has tender pieces of white meat chicken, mushrooms, and delicate creamy Parmesan cheese sauce served over pasta. It is awesome! Also, you must remember to try plenty of the complimentary bread that Spankie�s offers. If you like garlic bread, you will be in heaven. The next time you find yourself near Tech, stop by Spankie�s for some really good food. They are open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week.
