rambling:
  • 28 days later
    • "SCARY AS HELL!", hardly, the movie's not bad, a good mix between resident evil and outbreak, but the movie doesn't have any scary parts, not even any suspense or out of the blue things that just make you jump. good cinematography though. make-up guru's might enjoy this.
    • Grade: 8
    • Worth paying for?: no more than $5
    • references: homepage - imdb - Cillian Murphy - Naomie Harris - mr.skin (porn database)
  • holes
    • first off, there's no advertising for me to make fun of, I only ever saw two ads for it and they were both vague and misleading. I had gotten the copy of it because my mother suggested it when I asked what movie I should get not knowing she was still up, seeing how it was 4 in the morning and she was staring at the tv, the response of holes came out. so that's what I got, any way, it's not that bad, there are parts of it that are pretty predictable and try to be misterious but are still pretty obvious, in anycase.
    • Grade: 7.3
    • Worth paying for: no more than $4
    • references: homepage - imdb - Sigourney Weaver - Jon Voight - Shia LaBeouf
  • the heist
    • the only thing from the trailer I remember is danny devito saying something to the point of 'everyone needs money, that's why it's money.' everything else is a blur, the thing I do know is that the commercial wasn't that good at giving insight into this movie. it's not bad, a lot of twist's and turns, I'm not to happy about the ending, although it kinda makes sense. a quick warning, this is one of those 'everybody is trying to get the gold' movies. gold sucks, diamonds are girls best friend.
    • Grade: 8.6
    • Worth paying for: no more than $5.50
    • references: homepage - imdb - Gene Hackman - Delroy Lindo
  • the good girl
    • I never even saw a commercial for this, and from the name of it, it sounds like a nother crappy teen flick, when in actuality it's a jennifer aniston movie that borders on artistic, pretty good, it's got Jake Gyllenhaal of the amazingly good movie Donnie Darko, he's the co-star in the film. once again he's playin' a slighty deranged moderately disturbed fella with a fabtabulous acting job.
    • Grade: 8.2
    • Worth paying for: no more than $6
    • references: homepage - imdb - Jennifer Aniston - Jake Gyllenhaal - mr.skin (porn database)
  • the believer
    • never heard of it, but it's kind of a newer version of 'american history x' with dave furlong of terminator and ed norton of fight club. anyways, the believer isn't very star powered, the actor of the main charachter gives a really good performance and you can start to see the characters past influences his actions and why he feels and does things. very good acting and writing in the film, however the ending is a little hard to follow, I don't understand the symbollism in it right now, anyone with insight, feel free to enlighten.
    • Grade: 8.13
    • Worth paying for: no more than $5.50
    • references: imdb - Ryan Gosling - mr.skin (porn database)

rambling:
  1. NAME: Jared Adrian Wilcurt
    • I used to tell people my middle name was Ulysess cuz I thought that was a cool name, and it led people away from guessing my real middle name, however I've stopped caring now and believe I have little to nothing to hide.
  2. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?: sNope.
    • My mom, being just as wrongfully assuming as ever, believed I would be born a girl, and my name would have been Janna Arieana, however (according to my senial catholic mother) while in heaven I punched janna in the arm(my sister who was supposed to be born before me) and cut in line to be born first, but on my way to the front of the line, she kicked me in the leg, explaining the birthmark on my left leg. Later on in the hospitle according to the senial old lady, a nurse with a name tag titling her 'Janna' and a bruise of some sorts (possibly a birthmark) on her arm.
    • my name is kinda from someone else though, cuz appearently I was due to be born and ended up staying in the womb past the date and my mom was reading some book about a kid named jared who flew with eagles or something and said (and I quote) 'if your not a janna, and your a jared, that's okay, you can come out' sometime within a week I was born. f'in eagles

    • my eyes have been known to change color, sometimes referred to as 'cat eyes'
  11. SIBLINGS: Dana (12 years older than me), Jay (6 years older than me)
    • I kind of adopted Cecil Berkowitz, he lives on another plane of existence, and apparently only I can see or hear him.

  13. LAST MOVIE YOU SAW IN THE THEATER: X-Men 2

  29. WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD?: not knowing if your friend doesn't like you, a type of paranioa
  30. TEENAGE SMOKING: I don't think it should be segragated into 'teenage smoking', the whole industry is full of lies, not just the tobacco companies but the anti-smoking agencies. all those facts are based off of untruths, and loop-wholes. but as far as teen smoking (or any drug for that matter of any age) I don't really care, I figure that people have been warned enough, if they wanna take a drug or light up, it's they're own right, as long as they don't bitch about it.
  31. SUICIDE: don't care for it much, thought about it back in the day, have it all planned out, my mom told me all the do's and dont's on what works, however she's still trying new and creative ways, I'll get back to ya when we get all the bugs worked out and have a fool-proof one ready.
  32. GOD: (by reading the following you designate that you won't sick the christian coalition on me) as far as the whole religion thing goes, I don't care, I haven't spent enough time pondering it lately, I just don't do anything. I don't have a 'god' whoever she maybe, and aren't a part of any organized religion other than self-religiofication. I might look into the church of scientology someday, but I'll leave that for the soul-searching days of the future, I'm still a little young to have everything figured out, and yes I'm aware I won't, however there was a time I did...
  33. WHAT COLLEGE DO YOU GO TO OR WANT TO GO TO?: IUPUI, maybe Vincences (however it's spelled)
  34. DO YOU WANT TO GET MARRIED?: Getting married has it's past deeply rooted in religion, and therefore, no. But the principle of it, spending the rest of your life with someone, isn't such a bad idea, I just don't think I'm someone who could find the person whom I wouldn't get annoyed by after a while. Plus I'm probably a hard person to live with.

rambling:
I like The Moulin Rouge, I can sing all the words to Elephant Love Medley and Come What May. I like propaganda, I've collected an extensive library of World War II and some modern government and corporate propaganda. I'm a nonsexual, I find neither sex sexually attractive, however I find both physically attractive. I've never loved, for I'm unsure if I can or what it is. I care about individuals and not the big picture, unless otherwise stated. I have tendanitus, many are to blame for this, but I know that the person at fault is myself for not listening to ana, brian, or ronnie when they told me to stop playing so tense and relax. I spend lots of time in front of the computer. I'm usually pretty easy to get along with, I'm rarely offensive, for that is of little use, I stick by what I believe in and I try to pick my fights, I'm stubborn, if I say I'm gonna win, I will, whether or not I do, I will justify in my head that I did. I don't like it when people don't believe me, if I were to lie to you I would tell you that I'm lying, or if I don't, it's for a good reason. I have no preference on long walks on the beach, I guess it would depend on how long the walk is. I don't like ignorance, however since the vast population is consumed by it I cope and go on. I'm usually not very fun to be around, although I don't try and stop others from having fun, I often don't contribute. I only drink sprite or alcohol, usually smirnof ice. I'm not a vegetarian. I don't like much expensive food, I've taken 3 or 4 different classes at school for cooking, yet I prefer microwavable items. I'm poor. I don't mind doing 'illegal' things if they aren't wrong, or if it can do more good than harm. I would take a bullet for somebody, not anybody, but a lot of the people I know. I like movies, especially made by kevin smith, however I'm not limited to just those. I have eclective music tastes, I don't like country (with the exception of "Clint Black - I like the rain" which could easily be turned into an alternative song), I don't like pop (at least not recent pop, I like certain songs from before 95, but that was about when it started to suck, I can't think of any since then that I like, but there might be one), I like very little rap, much of it is stupid, but gotta give props to Dre, Snoop, and even Em, despite his pop songs that are always the first to be heard and overplayed off of any of his albumbs, the rest of his stuff is really good, and the kids got skills. I don't like teachers who can't comprehend that there are students who know more then them. I've had many teachers like this, and a few who aren't, I won't mention their last names because the internet has a funny way of getting people in trouble, but janus, sharon, brian, and even don, those are some that come to mind at the moment. I don't believe in christianity, or any major religion. especially one based upon writings that are more than 200 years old. this comes the major misunderstanding from people about me, I like how Kevin Smith put it in DOGMA, ideas not beliefs, see the movie if you haven't. The bible has many stories in it that are their to help others to learn from previous mistakes, much like chinese proverbs, or the Samurai book Hagakure. but when one undertakes a way of life, he should remember that it is his choice and not to attempt to push it onto others, if someone seems interested or if it could better their life, offer them, but if they refuse, just give up, don't hound them, if god, ala, the aliens, santa clause, or whomever your way has led you to believe wants them to follow in your way, then you have nothing to worry about and there is no need to follow up on them. I like red hot chili peppers and I hate emeril live. go forth and do so not as written, but as thought of with in yourself.- A toadstool by any other name would smell as sweet.
