Fronting the band and making it truly original are two entertainers with disabilities who perform in wheelchairs--Bobby Dee McMahon and Donna Yeager.
The musical sytle is Americana in the vein of Willie Nelson, Bette Midler, the Mamas and Papas. Besides stellar songwriting, these talented musicians uplift others with the victories in their own lives. Easy Access band creates great feelings of goodness with their live peformances in the San Francisco Bay Area. EASY ACCESS BAND was formed in 1988 by singer-songwriters BOBBY DEE MCMAHON (autoharp, harmonica, keyboards, percussion, vocals) and JASON GERVICH (guitar, harmonica, vocals). The duo composed and recorded their songs at HeartStar Records, their home studio in Sunnyvale California. Guest artists appearing on the album include DONNA YEAGER (vocals), JOSEPH SEIGEL (fiddle), PAT RYAN (bass), JACK FISCHER (keyboards, guitar, bass, vocals), LARRY LEEDER (keyboards).
The live band performed concerts regularly around the San Francisco bay area at venues such as San Jose Tapestry Art Festival, Capitola Art & Wine Festival, Fremont Mission San Jose Days. In 1992 Bob and Donna played a concert tour of Japan with the International Disabled Musicians.
The HEART OF A HERO album was engineered and produced by Bob and Jason to be a force for positive fun. It is available on cassette. Prepare to be inspired!
