| It is with much sadness that I announce the passing of this wonderful stallion. We made the choice to euthanize Jim after a second impaction. We let him go on Friday, April 26 at 3:50 p.m. We will miss him very much, as he was such a gentle stallion, and such a gentleman. Our regret is that we never got the chance to use him for breeding, so his legacy will not continue on at Eastwind Farm. | Jim was a wonderful example of the tenacity of the pony spirit. On the trip home this past August, Jim fell gravely ill, and after some time in the equine hospital, and a bowel resection, he bounced back at full speed. Full of vim and vigor, but was always the consumate gentleman. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
