| Date: 5/2/03 Time: evening Investigator: Barbara H. Location: Bijou Theater Weather: Investigation was indoors -- outdoor weather clear. Other Investigators Present: Crystal R, Lori C, Krystee B, & Holly W Equipment: digital camera Film Speed: n/a (digital) Brand: n/a (digital) Exposures: n/a (digital) Film: n/a (digital) Audio Tape: 0 Video Tape: 0 Thermometer: none Phenomena Witnessed By Investigator: #1: Climbed to the very top of the catwalk. Felt that I shouldn't continue even though I was at the top, so I came back down. #2: Didn't have a good feeling about being up on the fourth floor, so I stayed mostly around the auditorium and the stage , which was more active with spirit energy that night. Also at the time while investigating the fourth floor with Holly W, we found that the room on the furthest right of the entrance door was active with spirit. Goose flesh, cold spots & seeing the "sparks" when the flash of the camera would go off occurred at the time of our being in the area. We were careful not to stir up any dust at the time when we were on that floor. #3: Was out in the front lobby with other members. We were all pretty quiet and sitting down resting. Kept hearing noises -- a crashing, banging or knocking sound -- occasionally. Something was there in spirit trying to get our attention. Experienced cold spots and goose bumps, even though the room was confortable in temperature consistently except for these variances that happened at the times of noises and sensing something around in spirit presence. Took pictures and a few anomalies, which are usually labeled orbs, were captured with the camera. One of the members stated that the red flag on the mailbox in the lobby was up where before when they had first arrived in the evening, it had been down. I can't say for sure since I did not notice that specific difference when I arrived or during the time that we were in the front lobby. I say this only as personal observation, and not to say that the others that saw this did not experience such incident. #4: We were all in the basement at the time before I had the next experience. I decided to go upstairs towards the stage and another member, Holly W, followed behind. I noticed she went to the small room towards the edge of the stage to sit down. I walked towards the edge of the stage alone. I called out for Smiley, one of the presumed spirits of which it has been said he might still be in residence at the theater. As soon as I called out I felt the definite presence of someone standing behind me & heard an audible loud breathy noise which sounded like a sigh -- or even possibly 'someone' trying to say "What!". I looked to my left, and quickly to my right, then behind me thinking that Holly had come up behind but there wasn't anyone in 'physical body' around me when this happened. Another member, Crystal R, told me soon after this incident occurred that she had just walked up from the basement to see me looking around quickly as though I were looking for someone.
