Fire Company Responds to MVA
East Shelby Fire and Metro ambulance were requested to the corner of Martin and East Shelby Rd's. for the two car MVA with pole down and wires down. East Shelby 6 (Lt. Zinkievich) arrived on location to find two cars off the road with wires down on one of them and a pole down. One patient was trapped. East Shelby 6 requested second ambulance (Medina) to the scene. A total of 5 patients were involved and 4 of them signed off with Medina Ambulance. Metro arrived on scene and requested Mercy Flight to the scene for the trapped patient. The Patient was extricated and moved to Metro 351 to await the helicopter. Mercy Flight landed on Martin Rd. Fire Police shut down East Shelby Rd. From Rt. 31A to the Hemlock Ridge Rd. and Martin/Wheeler Rd's from Bigford to the Town Line Rd.

Fire Company Purchases New EMS Truck
The Fire Company purchased a 2000 Ford Expedition from the Fishers Fire District, in Ontario County. The truck had some paint work and some mechanical work done to it, and it was placed into service Friday June 8th.
