| The first thing I did was to get an air grinder with a 36 grit disc and remove the egde around the lense and then slightly smoothened out the ridges on the lense. The lanse was looking pretty nasty about then. Then I took a orbital sander ( DA ) with 80 grit and after about 10 minutes I had it looking like the picture. And keep in mind I really didn't have a clue as to what I was doing or how it was going to turn out. I was seriously " wingin " it The guys at my shop just thought I was wasting my time and they would end up in the garbage can. |
