The disc starts off with a great great track called "Um..." and when that first came on, I thought "The rest of the cd is probably really bad." You know when you get a cd and you hear the first track and you get all like "Yeah yeah, more more!", and then you hear the second track, and the rest and you're just not as excited anymore. Well I do, and I hate it. But that didn't happen with this cd, no no no young bucky. It just keeps getting better. Now this is a very innovative disc. Some songs are just accoustic, some songs are accoustic with piano (for the most part), and some are even including a good ol' drum machine. What more could you ask for? Great writer, great songs, and great differences. No two songs sound alike at all, well no thats a large claim to make, let's just say that it is very innovative, yes innovative (I like that word).
As far as riffage goes, well it's a mellow cd, so the riffs are either extremely complicated or extremely easy, you never really can tell. But let me just say that this cd is definetly one worth checking out. The pianos and the guitars just blend so well together. Jonah has created a twister of guitar piano emo fusion, and it's good, really really good. I'll give it a 4.5/5.
