The purpose of Wesleyan Women is to develop mature, godly women who recognize and respond to the spiritual and physical needs of persons worldwide. Core values of the auxiliary include providing fellowship and support for women, motivating a benevolent spirit of generosity, and encouraging a desire for excellence in Christian women's leadership. |
For almost one hundred years, women in the Wesleyan denomination have been organized for the purpose of helping others both at home and overseas. Today's Wesleyan Women are involved in a myriad of ministry opportunities.
Programming for Wesleyan Women has been expanded to include age groups from middle school to senior citizens. Millions of dollars have been collected and sent to places of need. This benevolent service auxiliary has recently experienced considerable growth and continues to be a viable link to The Wesleyan Church throughout the world.
It is amazing how much good women united in purpose can accomplish. Whenever a need is made known, whether spiritual or material, Wesleyan Women join in force to help.
