Genealogy software

There are many genealogy database programs that will translate people’s genealogy data into HTML format, so that they can publish them on the World Wide Web.

Packages available include:

GSP Family Tree - see www.gsp.cc. Features include a research facility, 'Tree Detective', new tree styles, individual record sheets, picture compatibility and links to popular UK genealogy Web sites.

Cumberland Family Software - www.cf-software.com. Has many features, is multi-lingual and easy-to-use. Automatically links names as they are added to the database. The user can include 250 events per person, multiple marriages, scanned photos and documents, sources, stories, etc. and can print 31 different reports.

Family Tree Maker - http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com. From genealogy.com, allows you to store and organise countless facts.
