Never wear anything sharp or pointed in your hair, Its best to avoid wearing any metal accessories in your hair, stick with smooth plastic, better yet, Fabric.
Keep your hair out of your face and eyes.
If you have to wear rollers or curlers in public, consider using curler coverers.
Avoid wear mass amounts of hair gel, hair spray or any other dressings. While cheering your body and head releases moisture (sweat) to kewl you down. These products can travel in your sweat and get into your mouth and eyes.
Braids - Whether it be a normal braid or French braid, what you can do with braids is only limited by your imagination.
Tips* You can vary the look of a french braid, by going over or under with the strands. Also you can pick up hair to add to the braid on only one side, or try try PigTail french braids.
Buns - Buns aren't just for grandma's, they can be fun and sassy, so dont limit yourself. They can go on the top on the sides or even the back of your head. Buns can be plain, braided or twisted.
