Pee Wee AAA Bring Home Silver!! The 2003 - 2004 EKMHA Pee Wee AAA team played in the Western Valley Spartan's Pee Wee AAA Tournament this weekend in Kingston, Nova Scotia. After some exciting games in the round robin, the team advanced to take on the powerful Cole Harbour Red Wings in the cross over game Sunday afternoon. With a 6-6 tie after three periods of end-to-end action, Xavier Foley scored the game-winning goal on a beautiful play from Blake Hayes and Chris Draper in the third overtime period. The team went on to play the Halifax Hawks in the Championship Game late Sunday evening (their third game in 6 hours!). They stayed even with the Hawks through 2 periods of play but Halifax dominated the play in the third period and won the Gold Medal. Our team proudly brought home the Silver Medal and is looking forward to seeing the Hawks again in the 2003 Emera Fuels Cup later this month.
