TEAMS : Pee Wee A : Game Reports

East Kings Pee Wee A
The East KIngs PeeWee A team participated in the Greenwood March Break Tournament. Their first game was against the Halifax Hawks. The game went back and forth but in the end Halifax came out on top with a 7-5 victory. Our game MVP was Sean Croft. The next morning our team faced off against the East Hants Penguins this time with better results , a 3-1 victory. Game MVP was Sean Williams. That afternoon we faced the host team, the Greenwood Bombers. In previous play we had never won a game against Greenwood. The troops rallied and were sucessful in defeating Greenwood by a score of 6-4. Game MVP was Bobby Selby.
Unfortunately the loss to Halifax put us in second place in our division and we got to play in the consolation game for the Bronze Medal. There we met Yarmouth and played a strong game of hockey to win the Bronze medal. The final score was 5-2. Game MVP was Peter VanOostrum.
After the final game the team all got to enjoy SubWay Subs , compliments of Bobby Selby. Bobby represented the team in the skills competition and won a trophy and subs for the team as the top participant. Way to go Bobby!
