Hi folks,
Just got confirmation that we have a home/home series against Berwick this weekend. Game times are as follows:
Saturday March 6 3:50 pm at Acadia vs Berwick A
Sunday March 7 10:30 am at Berwick vs Berwick AThe email I sent last night lists times for games the next two weekends. Sorry for the short notice for this weekend.
The other good news is that Paul was talking to the boys about possible interest in getting a team sweater (fleece) from Mark’s Work Warehouse. The boys were keen on it! Marks Work Warehouse had a special deal on in terms of price, which Paul was able to secure if the order was placed by today. So, the order has been placed. Paul got info from the boys re the appropriate sizes etc. The boys can have their name/position etc embroidered on t he fleece ( and we can add on “Provincial Champs”, assuming we win in Kentville) We have a comfortable cushion in terms of money, thanks in large measure to the revenue from the basket sales and 50/50 draws, so our team fees can probably cover about half of the cost of the sweaters. We would each need to pay the remainder (approx $25). If that is a hardship for anyone, let me know.
