The East Kings Winterhawks Female Midget team traveled to Truro to play in the AAA Female Midget Championships the March 6th weekend. After playing the round robin they were 2 and 2 with the best goals against to place them in second place going into the finial game. They played Berwick in the Championship game. They won 5-4 scoring with less than 3 minutes, on a powerplay, to go in the 3rd period. click image to enlarge Here's April Rand scoring the winning goal!.
