This meeting was held as advised in the registration forms sent to parents in August 2002. It was carried out during registration, in the same room.
Brian welcomed everyone and explained the situation.
Thane Stevens made the motion to remove Pelton Mountain Road and the lands to the west from EKMHA. The motion was seconded by Robin Foley.
It was explained that this address is off Highway 221 to the Bay of Fundy, about 5 minutes drive. The children in this area always attend schools west of Kentville.
Vote: Yes 20 - No 0
Motion carried.
The meeting was adjouned at 8:15 after a thank-you from Thane on behalf of his family.
