Goals
9 - Ritchie Foran - A free kick was given on the right for a foul by Mike Edwards, and Carlisle took full adavantage. Poor defending meant the ball reached the unmarked Foran at the back post, and he fired past Paul Musselwhite from 10 yards.

Bookings
Mike Edwards (5th), Ritchie Foran, Peter Murphy

Tigers Line-Up
(4-4-2) Mussewlhite, Edwards, Wicks, Whittle, Petty, Beresford, Sneekes (Johnsson 61), Whitmore (Greaves 61), Matthews, Alexander, Rowe (Dudfield 61)

Attendance
8,526 - Lowest of the season, but it won't be for long. For 4 days, probably. Around 200 from Carlisle.

Brief Notes
What a load of rubbish. Our woeful run continues, as City produced another abysmal performance, making it 5 League games without a win (7 in all competitions), and over 7 hours without a goal. A side placed next to bottom before the game started showed us the bare minimum needed to win games in the Third Division: Simple passing and movement, effort and determination. We, however, failed to put together any decent football, put no pressure on the visitors when they had the ball, and consequently slumped to defeat. Promotion is looking increasingly unlikely, and you have to wonder how long Adam Pearson is going to put up with seeing no return for his investment.
