The following pics were taken on the scene of a 3 vehicle MVC, all 18 wheeled coal trucks. The driver of a loaded 1996 Kenworth lost control of his truck as he rounded a curve and impacted an empty 2000 Western Star tractor and trailer, due to the impact,the Western Star was pushed into an empty 2002 Kenworth tractor and trailer. Although the damage done was major, all three drivers walked away from this with minor injuries. The first due units on this scene were from the Lenore Vol. Fire Dept., East Fork Vol. Fire Dept. provided mutual aid on the call. All victims were transported to a local medical facility via Critical Link Ambulance and Specialty Service. |
