I recognized that Leonardo often signed his name backwards, and the painting seemed to be in the style of Leonardo. Matt noted that "onore," the word written in gold, was "honor" in Italian. I saw that the letters O-N-O-R-E appear in the name Leonardo. The rest of the letters are L-A-D.

Matt's friend Connor informed us that the painting was, indeed, done by Leonardo, and was entitled "Lady with the Ermine." This confirmed the Leonardo theme.

Our first instinct was to call game control and guess random art museums in San Francisco, but to no avail. I pulled into a Shell station on Van Ness, and guessed that we should go to Dallas, since L-A-D backwards is D-A-L. Game Control thought I was insane.

At about that time, Lindell saw some nice young girls passing by drinking a Jamba Juice. He approached them and asked what they knew about Leonardo. They told him that there was some sort of a temporary art exhibit at the Palace of Such-and-such, but we dismissed it.

Exasperated, I called GC to get the 15-minute clue. Zoë told me, "think temporary exhibits." "Aha," I cried, "Some floozies just told Lindell that we should go to the Palace of such-and-such for the temporary Leonardo exhibit." "Yes," Zoë replied. "Which Palace?" We frantically searched for museums in San Francisco on the back of our map.

"The Palace of Modern Art?" No. "The Palace of Renaissance Art?" No. "The Palace of Leonardo Da Vinci?" No. Finally, I saw it... "Palace of the Legion of Horror," and thought to myself, "That's the stupidest name ever." To my chagrin, I had misread "Honor" as "horror." So, we were off to the Palace of the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park.
